Google this year event is scheduled in October and this will likely focus a lot on the excessively leaked Pixel 4. But company is apparently having some other products as well to announce. According to 9to5’Google’s Report, the list of products may include anew Chromebook: a 13.3-inch, 4K new Pixel book.

The Chromebook will be officially called the Pixelbook Go, and it is said to closer to Google’s original Chromebook Pixel launched in 2013, with a simple clam shell design as compared to the transforming 2-in-1 design of the Pixelbook or a tablet-style Pixel Slate.

Google Talk about Pixelbook

The Pixelbook Go is apparently been in development for a while and Google has also confirmed that it had future Chromebooks in the works in month of April. They have also done the FCC filings for the products hitting in July. You might have seen the leaked pictures of the device in the past few weeks. According to those designs, it will be having more rounded corners as compared to the usually angular design that Google has opted for its previous Chromebooks.

According to 9to5 Google’s report, the Pixelbook Go will be having a 16:9, 13.3-inch touchscreen with two options either an FHD or 4K panel. This is going to be a big change for Google as they have used 3:2 aspect ratio displays on the previous Chromebooks for better display webpages and documents. As far as the internal hardware is concerned, it will have a wide variety of configurations with Intel Core m3, i5, and i7 processors; 8GB or 16GB of RAM; with a storage of 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB.

Whereas the ports, the Pixelbook Go will be having USB-C ports on every side and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop will be featuring a magnesium alloy body that will make it apparently as light or lighter in comparison to original Pixelbook.

We are having no words on the price or release date but we will likely see that Google will officially announce the Pixelbook Go at the October 15th event. If there will be any comment about this from Google, we will update you soon about it. Stay tuned!
