Is Oppo Reno the One Plus 7 Pro with Better Camera? Let’s find it out below:

In the past, Oppo’s latest flagship phone was having a lot common with OnePlus because the companies share ownership and supply chain resources. In this case, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom comes after the OnePlus 7 Pro but this time things are better on side of Oppo

The Reno comes with a curved back and a front panel of the 6.6-inch screen. The screen is not having a slope on the sides, the phone is just 9.3mm thick. The Reno is half a millimeter thicker than the OnePlus Pro 7 and weighs slightly more at 210g.

It is a quite great looking phone with sleek frosted glass having a strip for the Oppo logo and another for the cameras. There is no camera bump and no headphone jack but it is having USB-C. It also comes with a pair of good in-ear buds.

Reno’s bezel-less design is having a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera that is one of the weirdest design ones can see on the mobile phone. In good light, the Reno well-exposed 13-megapixel zoom shots are good but you will not be able to use it in low light. On the other hands, the 5x zoom lens is optically stabilized but not able to make up for slow aperture of f/3. This will give you results blurry at night.

The Reno also has an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide camera and it is using Sony’s popular 48-megapixel IMX586 sensor with an f/1.7 lens for the primary camera, shooting pixel-binned 12-megapixel shots as a default. If we look at the overall performance of the cameras Oppo’s image processing is good. The Reno is having a Snapdragon 855 processor and it is really fast. The other big addition is the Oppo’s new ColorOS 6 software, which sees the company move away from its heavier Android skin to produce something better.

The Reno’s panel is having a resolution of 1080p, which is not up to the mark for the price tag of £699 in the UK. The model is available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Now people have to decide either they will compromise on the screen to get the game-changing phone or not! In the end, all depend on the person preference because no one is going to force you.
