2020 is going to be a very exciting year for smartphone innovation. The foldable smartphones are returning with a fully foldable display. After the Motorola Razr’s announcement, Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Z Flip that was formerly rumored as the Galaxy Bloom in the pipeline.

The Lets Go Digital has provided some mockup renders of the foldable phone that is based on the previous teasers and live-image leaks of the Samsung flip phone.

The mockups are giving us a really good idea of what new Samsung phone will look like. The hinge mechanism will be strikingly similar to the Galaxy Fold. There will be a power key on the right of the lower section of the handset and there will be a volume rocker on the right of the upper half. There is a small external display that will be next to the main dual-cameras and single LED flash.

The inside display will be having a punch-hole display with an embedded selfie camera. It rumored that there will be a 10MP shooter. The device will be having a Snapdragon 855 chipset and it will support some kind of super-fast charging for the dual-battery setup. One battery will be 900 mAh while the other one is unknown.

For the record, the Galaxy Z Flip will be the first consumer smartphone that will be featuring a foldable glass because the other mobile phones have used a plastic-based material to have a bendable screen surface. The screen will open to form a 6.7-inch screen.

The images and videos are still not providing enough answers about aesthetics. Many questions regarding the spec s and design will be answered soon. It is expected that the Galaxy Z Fold will be possibly unveiled with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series at Samsung’s Unpacked event happening next month.
