Shyp is planning for the launch repeat.
According to the Tweet from the startup “We are back! We’re are working hard work to restore an exceptional shipping experience. Before we start tasks once more, we’d love to hear your criticism in this speedy review. We look forward to working with you and can’t wait to change the future of shipping!”
Most of the survey questions are depending on online shopping returns. The questions were like how easy or difficult it was to pack the product for return, print the prepaid label, purchase postage or ship the product? The last question provides a hint about what direction the new Shyp management will be taking as they ask “When returning a product, how likely would you be to utilize an administration that grabbed and delivered the item as opposed to transportation it yourself?”
Shyp’s website has still not confirmed when they will be back and what services will be offered? But it is telling that Shyp restarted in January 2019 under the new management and backed by the angel investors.
It is expressed that “with designs to disturb the business with what it excels at: bleeding edge innovation and predominant client experience.”
Shyp was one of the hottest on-demand startups that were shut down in March 2018 after not achieving their goals to expand to cities outside of San Francisco. It was first launched in 2014, Shyp initially offered on-demand service for almost every customer who wants shipping. The charges were $5 plus postage to pick up, pack and bring the item to a shipping company. Furthermore to introduce a pricing tier in 2016 as it tried to find a new way for its business model before shutting down the business two years later.
If new Shyp will be focusing on making online returns easier, it will be surely bringing back one of its most popular services. The company expanded its online returns in 2015 after noticing that the majority of the customers used the app to return products they have previously purchased online.
Hope soon we will be seeing SHYP back in the business. here is a video of SHYP introduction.
