The number of gadgets and gizmos we have in the present has to be in millions. From a 5-year-old to an 80-year-old, everyone is attached to some gadget. It could be a Kindle, a PS4, a laptop, or the most popular a cell phone.
Ever since their inception, cell phones have come a long way in terms of their development. Do you remember the first phone you had as a 90s kid? Mine was a Nokia, I don’t remember its model, but I do recall that it was very bulky and had the tiniest black and white screen. And it was expensive. My single mom had to get no guarantor loans to get both of us the same phone. I was the happiest child on the planet the day I got that.
Who would have thought that the Smartphone we would have in 2020 would put them to shame? The 2000s brought along the flip phone, and I fell in love with them. The touch screen is all fine and dandy, but the satisfaction of closing the flap could not be found in them.
So evidently I was the happiest being on the planet, for the second time in my life, when I got to know that Motorola was bringing the flip phones back with its MotoRazr. Ever since I have done all my research on it and am just waiting to get my hands as soon as the pandemic is over.
Here is all that you need to know about the phone.
THE MAGNUM OPUSDESIGN of THE MOTO RAZR
The design of the phone can be the single and most enticing reason for its purchase.
The Moto Razr flips. It has a touch screen that will allow you to flip it in two. It is as uncanny as it is awe-inspiring. It gives the user the pleasure of using two screens on one phone. How cool is that?
- THE UNFOLDED SCREEN
When unfolded, the screen is 6.2″, which is quite impressive, but its poled HD, 21:9 cinema vision makes it even more desirable. It has the perfect dimensions which make it neither too bulky to carry nor too small to enjoy a match of PUBG. Cinema vision makes everything more lively and realistic.
The screen is designed in such a way that when it is folded, it does not damage the display. It is because of the zero-gap hinge that makes the two folds flush against each other.
- THE FOLDED SCREEN
When you fold the Razr, it becomes half the size before. What this means is you can fit it in your pocket with ease and without the fear of bending the screen. In addition, it fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.
The quick view when folded is a 2.7” GOLED screen with HD display. Both screens are always in sync with each other. You need not unfold the fold to;
- Check your notifications,
- Reply to messages and calls.
- Moreover, even click selfies.
The blend of technology and engineering can achieve this perfection.
THE CAMERA WITH A BRAIN
The Moto Razr’s camera is a class apart. It personifies what technology can make possible for all of us.
- NO NEED TO PRESS BUTTONS
The Razr has a feature called Auto Smile. What this means is that to click a picture, both selfie, and the rear camera photos, all you have got to do is smile, and the camera will automatically capture your radiance in the phone. You need not press any buttons to get clicked.
- CREATES PROFESSIONAL DUPLICATES
The phone also boasts the Smart Composition. This feature allows the camera to click a similar picture that you just captured. However, the one clicked by the feature is going to give a professional photographer a run for his money. The preciseness, the angles, and captured light by the camera are almost surreal.
- CLICKS WITHOUT THE SUN
Night vision is by far the camera’s plus point, not that it needed any. The Razr can click pictures at night, which would be as good as the DSLR’s. It has eight frames, so all it has to do is combine all of those and voila! You can click exceptional pictures at night as well.

WILL THE PRICE BE WORTH?
The Moto Razr is a little on the higher spectrum of the pricing list. Valued at 1500 USD, it may need you to get very bad credit loans with no guarantor and no broker in the UK.
However, this feature-packed phone will not let you regret the purchase. With a battery life that can last up to 28 hours and a 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, you cannot ask for more in a phone.
In addition, the satisfaction you get when you close the flap after hanging up on an ex and telling him the idiot he was is worth the price.
In the end, all I want to say is that I never expected the flip to be back. I always thought that it had died when the decade changed. Motorola has proven me wrong, and I cannot seem to take offense.
The design and the features of the phone are more stellar than any other phone in the market. I am just waiting for the quarantine to end so that I can get my hands on it.
